Can't load modded saves

As the title says, I have been playing fine with in-game mods. Was able to load just fine yesterday. Today, when I click on a save to load, it pops up with the warning that I'm about to load a modded character then, nothing. No loading screen, no changes at all. It treats it as if I had backed out instead of loaded confirmed. Playing on PC. There were updates to two of the mods I use today that I downloaded. I followed the instructions on screen and restarted the game client after they were done updating.

I'm getting the same issue. Apparently, not all mods are causing issues. I was able to load a modded save when it had only the dark wizard mannequin quest mod.
Some are saying that mods that have an impact on characters are causing the issue but the auto-solve alohomora is also broken.

Yeah, modding wasnt broken. Till they decided to fix it. Now people are instead downloading versions elsewhere like from steam console ect. They shoulda left it alone.

If its one thing any gamer knows. Its that the devs, will not do as good a job as a modding community can do for a game. How can they? a couple thousand employees. Vs literal millions of hardcore fans? Its not even a contest.

They made one of the epic blunders many games make. And not learned from history.

I tried modding a save for the first time. Nothing will load. I'm at the load options for the save, I'll click the save Iwant to load, there's a pop-up stating load time vary and then nothing happens. I've sat here for 10 minutes with a single mod (trailblazing yew weaver) and nothing loads. I just completed the game without mods and was so excited to try it with mods. This is so disappointing

I was eventually able to load my modded saves. From what I can tell, you have to exit and reload the game a few times before it will let you load the modded save. At lest that is what worked for me. My exact process was: activate mods I want, apply changes, exit game, reload. It usually worked for me after that.

I got mine to work finally. Had to uninstall and delete every file for the game I could find. Just a pure wipe of it all then reinstalled the game.

This ended up working for me. No rhyme or reason that I can tell. Just restart tell it works... Hope it gets fixed, I've been having a blast with mods.

I was having this issue after all the crap I was doing trying to get my game to work again. What fixed the issue for me was to uninstall all of my mods and install them again, worked perfect for me.
I went into my mods Library and started installing them 7 or 8 at a time and it went quick. Yes, I'm using a few... ;^D

Just gotta wait a while if you get a black screen. The save will load eventually.

I just wish you could use a face and skin mod together without it bugging out and making the character disappear in a cutscene.
