False Positive, this is a common and fairly new issue. All you have to do is add the main excecutable to the exclusion list and verify the game integrity/files in case it got wiped so the .exe is re-downloaded. You might be able to restore it back from the anti-virus aswell.

Also... custom anti-virus in 2025? Win defender is literally all you need nowadays at least for a home PC.

you realize norton is damn near a virus itself right? it's the reason why nobody uses it anymore. ♥♥♥♥ overrides so much of your pc and does more harm than good
