Old face mod appears but everything deleted

I used to have nexus mods until it prevented me from opening Hogwarts Legacy, I uninstalled and deleted nexus mods and have tried to find the "~mods" to further delete but i couldn't find it. Everytime I open up my old avatar, the Eluvia face mod still appears and I've noticed that the companion mod was active as well. Nothing much happened and game worked fine but when I made a new avatar with no mods, the modded face appeared and the game would freeze briefly and close after professor fig tells you to open the map and right click on the quest in Central Hall. I've tried restarting my computer, and making a new avatar as well as reinstalling Hogwarts Legacy but it still doesn't get past that point. note: my minimap is on!

edit: i just tried running my old game (that still has the mod face and companion, and it ALSO quits the game </3)
