A shop that sells everything? REALLY?!

You really screwed the pooch on this one! Here I was waiting for a shop. I don't know why I expected to have eventual upgrades like the ROR. I was told by Penny I could sell EVERYTHING! Mooncalf fur included which I have because I have the ROR. I guess it wouldn't be such a bad thing if I didn't have a phobia of puppets and those naked mannequins are much like puppets to me. Could have really made something fun for us! Please either update the game to do just that or remove the quest all together.

the whole point is to sell your unwanted gear at a 10% bonus commission, gear is the only thing that can be sold(which is Dumb), They Messed it up with being able to sell potions and stuff you arn't using(not like you cant craft 100s more). But then What is there to Buy Its not like the sweet shop or toy shop even speak to you let alone buy extra distracting Fizzbangs and stuff. this is one aspect of the game that falls flat i totally agree.

Unless I am mistaken, that quest and the shop reward has been around since the game launched...it was just a bonus specific for PlayStation until they patched it over to other formats supported by the game.

We got a few cosmetics that were new for the recent update, but the big item is not new, just not available unless you played on PS.

I agree it is kind of pointless because by the time you can get the store, you really don't need it anymore. If that mission and reward was available before being able to fly, it would have been a helpful feature. I do like the idea of being able to sell off potions.

no owning your own shop came into being first on the PS around late 2023 it was later ported to PC and Xbox early last year(2024).

Absolutely!! 100% They have all this new gen hardware at their finger tips but we start as a fifth year, (I understand that there needs to be a "Chosen One" aspect but do we once again have to save the entire school?!) I think it would be fun online with others. IDK maybe HP is dying out what is it over 20 years old now?

Dyeing mm that's a touchy subject, certainly it has its mega fans still(no im not one I just like the aspect of the castle and family), along with the polarised community. Yes they could have done so much more but then i still expect a DLC that will never come, HWL 2 being announced with its key aspects of factions and morality.. I take this as a test run to see how popular it would be. JKR hate not withstanding
