One of the first big moments in Hogwarts Legacy is picking your house. Did you stick with the Sorting Hat's choice or go with the house you've always dreamed of?

Each house brings its own unique vibe—Gryffindor’s courage, Slytherin’s ambition, Ravenclaw’s curiosity, and Hufflepuff’s loyalty. They add flavor to the game, shaping dialogue and a few other moments.

I chose Slytharin and have been loving it so far! What about you? Which house did you pick, and how’s your experience been?

What to do with a "the heroes (TM)" house though? I'm not that familiar with the books and movies, but I imagine this one especially comes with a lot of expectations.

the Books specifically 1-7 were set from 1989-1996 and focus on Griffendor and the Sheer Hubris of certain characters More so Dumbledore than anyone. Cursed child was set 19 years after this with Harrys son in Slytharin and Time travel shenanigans where harrys son travels back in time and messes up the old books where he has to time skip to fix it all. the Magical creatures trilogy was set from 1949 and while they visit Hogwarts its not set there but rather the modern writer of magical creatures and his exploits and Dumbledore's old evil boyfriend.

Legacy is set around 1890 so around 100 years before and while some of the family names like Weesley and black are present they would be great grandparents for the people in Harry Potter's time, legacy 2 will be set around 1979-81 during the first war with the dark lord and its going to pair with the new series. Rumours tell of being able to either Join The either first order of the Phoenix or the Dark lord.

from what i have seen of them, they don't really stand out, the Jackdor quest where you get his letter is outside the great Hall where the others are outside of Hogwarts, Gryffindor’s legacy, like that of the other houses, isn’t as emphasized, meaning its association with bravery and heroism doesn’t dominate the story. Griffendor todate has been seen as the Default goto house.. the other 3 in HWL stand out more

while the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is in HWL you can't open it, you can look at it and comment on the Taps strangeness that's as far as it goes, there are a lot of references to the events 100 years later like when you see the stags in the Forest near the moon lit lake that's a reference to Harry himself
