Textures taking too long to load
I was playing the game yesterday and it was perfect. Today I wanted to play it again but I had this problem (I'm in hogsmead) where when I go to the menu, which is the book, the book textures take a second to load, then when I go back to the game it takes 2 or 3 seconds to the textures to load properly. I tried deleting the config folder but it didn't solve the problem. It doesn't matter changing the graphics quality in the settings. Is there a fix for this issue?

either drive too slow to load or has problems or VRAM full and tages ages to swap textures

Yup, UE5 has pretty bad delayed rendering when changing scenes. Just sit and wait a few seconds or buy a $2500 computer.

Whats your GPU?
Very likely a VRAM issue.
Either too low or too slow.

I'm using a GTX 1060 6gb, never had this issue before though, and I just don't understand why it was ok on hogwarts legacy, but yeah, I want to upgrade the GPU at some time, but mine is working fine and I'm relaying on FSR by now

lower texture quality to reduce VRAM requirement

I believe the game started working better after some time playing, maybe it was that

was poking around, I think the textures on Hogsmead usually tended to get blurry for a sec when hitting esc, but now it's the map... I think in the castle it's not so noticeable because it happens to other textures, like on a spculpture for example. Maybe I need another GPU or the game has an issue with that because it doesn't make difference changing the graphics even to low

Like already stated: it's the lack of VRAM causing this.
Everything that doesn't fit in it needs to get loaded from your regular RAM, which is way slower than VRAM is.
That's causing the delay and therefore blurry textures and stuttering.

Just as a comparison: HL needs about 10gb VRAM on my system.
Im Playing at 1080p, full settings.
Ok, using RT also takes a bit more VRAM than without it, but even at lower settings you might still need about 8Gb VRAM in order to avoid swapping.

So the only thing you can do right now is turning down the textures to a minimum, and also reduce the resolution, shadows, rendering distance or amount of game obbjects to be shown.
Maybe consider using FSR, if supported by the game.
That should also reduce the VRAM usage.
