Why Can't I sell diverse things in my own shop?

The first thing the elf say is 'you can sell various things including fur'.
After I finished that dreadful quest, I end up with a shop that sells... gears? This was the biggest disapointment in the whole game until now.
Someone please say this is just something they will implement in the future and not how its supposed to be

i think that's how it's supposed to be and I frankly find it F-ing infuriating because WTF is even the point of having your own shop if you could only sell gear, you know, SOMETHING 99.9% OF SHOPS CAN DO IN THIS F-ING GAME WHEN ALL I WANT TO DO IS SELL ANIMAL PARTS BECAUSE I HAVE 100+ CLOGGING UP MY INVENTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it make absolutely no sense and if they don't change this stupid shop feature in the sequel then I am not giving them a penny of my money

It pays you more for your gear then regular shop would pay you.

There are quite a few things that don't make sense about that shop, but it's still a video game and the shop is a game gimmick.

It's supposed to close at 9PM even though all other shops stay open 24/7. Despite closing at 9PM, it pays 10% more for all the sellable stuff which doesn't include everything the shop advertises. It'll pay for the same things all other shops will buy from the student.

Remember that it once was a PS5 exclusive. The exclusive Liquid Luck potion doesn't offer much benefit any more than the exclusive student-owned store does. Even the exclusive quest is mediocre. It would be rather unpopular to offer something extremely awesome to just PS5 while still providing the same game to other platforms.

It's seriously only 10% more? I guess it depends on how annoying the quest really is, but good lord. I would have thought it was at least 15% because 10% extra gold on gear is like 5-20 gold per item, depending on rarity.

Its a big waste of time and efford. And it literally locks you in it until you finish it
