first trial

ive completed the first trial and when i go to the pensive to finish it, it doesn't do nothing and then i have to restart the dam trial again, is it just me that's having this issue because ive done this quest TWICE now and the same thing keeps happening

Mods? they can mess thing up. Played through five times and never seen what you describe...although seen lots of reports. I am guessing it is somehow connected to extras or how you have your rig set up. (Or I am a super lucky duck that managed to play through five times and never had it happen)

nope, no mods and my rig is set up by my fella as i don't know what im doing regarding that but i know its on the best set up, its annoying as i can't progress any further with the game which is a shame as im enjoying it

My memory is sad at the best of times, but what is the game showing at that point that it's not doing anything? Is there a prompt on the screen that isn't registering when you press it? What details can you provide?

Are you using an unusual keyboard layout, or a language other than US English? Sometimes having other setups or languages active makes the prompts in other games not work correctly...

This is a well-known bug in the game. It can be caused by mods, but not always. If you don't have any mods then mods are not causing the problem for you. The only solution is to install a mod that actually fixes the bug: www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/1364
