Why is this game controversial?

I know JKR has been a bit nutty in recent years, but what has this game done to annoy so many people?

TLDR - Social Justice warriors from twitter hate this game because JK Rowling gets money from it. They consider her a trans-exclusionary feminist and hate her for it. So they call her a conservative. Which she doesn't even remotely qualify for and boycott the game. Right wingers are doing the opposite and buying the game because they want the protest to fail.

They pre-ordering the game now just to probably refunding and boycotting it too as soon they get asked what's their body type is at the character creator in the beginning and that they can put female hair on a male character.

Tell that to the multiple bans from online communities I've faced for supporting JK Rowling. It's definitely more than just a "troll".
