Headmaster black is the most laziest character design ever.

the game looks good except one thing, the design of the headmaster looks so boring and bland, he doesn't even look like a headmaster or even powerful enough..
when he shows up on my screen in my playthrough, i'm just gonna look away cause the devs really didn't think through on what a headmaster during that time should look like..
I mean come on, make him look powerful atleast!

That's the point. He is neither powerful nor he cares to look the part. He sits on the chair, but doesn't do much headmastering.

He was actually in the books and the movies as a portrait. He was considered the most hated headmaster of Hogwarts ever. He was no Dumbledore.

The thing about the potrait is that he looked so different there, he actually LOOKED like a 1800s headmaster, not some sloppy lazy guy that didn't care about his attire, he just looks like another walking NPC.

The og books say he is the MOST HATED HEADMASTER of all time. so yes i think they did the char justice

He is a Gilderoy Lockhart. The only difference is he usually does the right thing in the end. Even if he complains about it a lot. If the books are anything to go by.

Just because he's the most hated headmaster doesn't mean he has to be evil. Sometimes the people you hate most in power are the lazy ones that don't do anything or make an any effort.

He was the headmaster when Dumbledore was attending hogwarts. Dumbledore started in 1892 I believe. But him and Dumbledore never had the best relationship. Dumbledore often got angry at his portrait.
