PS5 gets an exclusive quest and reward?! You can't be serious.

This is unfair. People who have a PS5 are getting an exclusive quest, dungeon and a reward... God knows what else because allegedly they tried to silently put this out there, thinking the community won't catch on.

Why did the developers do this? To me this look like blatant favouritism towards the PS5 players and I don't understand it. All players regardless of their preferred platform should be treated equally, but instead we're being pushed aside just for not having an overpriced console.

Give us something too.

From my understanding it's coming to pc players in a years time... I didn't know that before, so it's fine. My thread's topic is basically finished :) We get it eventually, that's good 'nuff.

$10 reduction per sale times total number of sales that's not on a PS5. That could save millions for customers and would set an example to other idiot devs who think this exclusivity BS is acceptable.

The only issue this is causing me is I fully planned on getting this on PC. But I MIGHT get the PS5 version because of this. Im so damn unsure.

Yeah, Warner Brothers has a nasty habit of doing this. The two past instances that spring to mind most readily are:

1. Arkham Asylum: the playable Joker AR challenges were PS3 exclusives.
2. Arkham Knight: three Batmobile AR challenges that were PS4 exclusives (Scarecrow themed) and several Batman suit-skins.

None of the above ever got released on any of the other versions... ever. Other companies do exclusives with Sony, but tend to do time-limited exclusivity. So, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed 3 had missions exclusive to the PS3 versions... but only for a year or two, after which Ubisoft added them to the PC versions via patches.

Never that with Warner Brothers. If i had to guess, this mission is a Sony exclusive FOREVER. You will never see it unless you buy and play the PS5 version. Kind of sucks, truth be told. On the plus side, it will probably only be 20 minutes long with ten minutes of padding and the reward will be an early game item that will lose all utility very quickly. *shrug*

Edit addition: also, at least according to reddit and a few outlets, this quest and the associated dungeon are timed-exclusives and will be coming to other platforms a year after launch date. So... you might get to see it on the PC. Then again, it's been 8 years since Arkham Knight and 14 years since Arkham Asylum... and ain't no Scarecrow races or Joker missions on any non-PlayStation platform, dudes. :-P

I don't think the liquid luck is very useful since it just reveals hidden chests. Once YouTube vids come out of people using it to find all hidden chests it will be useless
