bro, just follow the main objectives.

Yeah, if you don't know what to do and/or are getting your ass kicked trying to accomplish side quests and stuff, then just do the main quests until at least around the point you unlock talents. From there you're pretty much good to just start going crazy, minus the things you have yet to unlock.

Have you taken a look at the "Guides" section? You should be able to find the usual mix of guides, How-To's, Walkthroughs and more, all written by other Steam users who have played the game.
