Two questions, both about the controls

I have this for Switch, loved the game, decided to get on Steam when saw was on sale. But The controls seem different. Like when pressing L2 to target, I'm sure I used R2 to manually aim. But on Steam, they are reversed. Also, I am using a Switch Pro controller, in the settings, I chose Switch controls..where is says the buttons will reverse, like the A and B, though R1 and L! still remained the same.

Now here is the strange part. I set to Nintendo layout, and I cast Levioso which was set to the A button (A on Switch, B on Xbox and think O on PS), and pressing A with the R1, it worked...the part that was strange...i go to save the game, I open the settings and when Save is selected, it says press A to proceed to save, but it cancels and closes the menu, where pressing B takes you to the Save menu. So for somethings that say press A, I have to press A, other times I have to press B.
