How do i activate my dlcs? and gifts?

Title.Maybe they unlock after some points of stoyry, pls tell me or link me a utube video to show me that stuff.?

The dlc items are cosmetics, you go into gear menu and hover over one of the pieces. You can enter it to find a menu to simply change the item but there is a second button that allowes you to change the item apearence without loosing the effects of the original item.
