Are you running an AMD GPU? I have heard of people having issues after updating their drivers for it.
Something to try.
Make sure the game is not running in the background. If it is - kill it.
Go to ‘C:\Users<your-user>\AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved’ and delete everything except for the ‘SaveGames’ folder (if you have it)
Next go to ‘C:\ProgramData\Hogwarts Legacy’ and delete everything except for the ‘NotAllowedUnattendedBugReports’ file
Start the game and it should take some time to properly prepare the shader cache for real this time and if the game will open properly now.
Yes, then it eat's up resources and may not open trying to redo the Shader Cache. This is not a good idea. Especially if they are having issues already.
Not since it was working just days ago. The sharder cache is probably not the issue in this case. It should still be intact. If you are going to go as far as doing all that, might as well uninstall and reinstall the game.
Also, saying you shouldn't try this because it "eats up resources" is just ignorant. It lasts all of a few minutes and then all those resources are freed right back up...
More than a few minutes. Don't make it personal. Did I call you ignorant...No I think not...
