Haunted Shop mission

how do you trigger the Haunted Shop mission
It doesn't seem to be showing up, at near House Cup Quest

You mean beyond the quest to kill Ranrok? Then the haunted Shop mission should definitely have triggered already. You don't get mail about it though, you have to find a house elf in Hogsmeade to start the quest. Also mods can block the quest from unlocking, so if you have any you might have to remove those from the mod directory.

I go to the shop but there is no elf, not sure if this is only on the PS5, But there is no "Mind your own Business" quest mark on the map like there is on YouTube videos. No mods in the directory. do I need to complete the game? So far I have seen 2 steam YouTubers over level 35 access this mission

Sounds like you might have run into a bug. I finished the quest on PC over the weekend without any issue. My save wasn't quite to the point where the quest was available yet though, it's possible that something weird happened and it just didn't trigger for you because you'd already finished the quest that unlocks it

Did you access it after the house cup quest? So far I saw 2 YouTubers over 35 access it, which makes me think I need to have an end game.

No, I wasn't even at the second trial when the update came out. I just finished the pre-requisite quest over the weekend (Professor Weasley’s Assignment).

I must've gotten lucky because I managed to do that quest about a week or so ago. I can't have been higher than level 31 or so because I'm just now at level 37 and I've just finished the main quest. Could it possibly be the latest update? I just encountered a bug with Poppy's snidget quest and I had to install a mod to progress through that quest.

Even if you don't have any mods installed you might wanna check your mod folder anyway and delete any files inside. I also thought I didn't have any mods, but ended up having a file in that directory after all. After deleting that file the quest worked without a problem for me.
