Has anyone been able to play this on Deck? It says it's verified and default graphics work well, but when I try the game it runs at 4 fps on the lowest settings. It's completely unplayable.

Im on the steam deck and the game runs just fine for me even at max graphics settings i can even turn on ray tracing it takes hit in frame rates but it still runs so i am not sure whats causing your issue cause i played and beaten the game on my steam deck at max settings no problems are you using mods and make sure ray tracing is off as ray tracing can really impact your frame rates causing the game to run very slow or be unplayable

Also turn on AMD FSR in game and on your steam deck in the quick access menu in the same settings tab where you lock the frame rate cap for all games those should help improve your frame rates

Also it is a computer so make sure you have a decent amount of free storage available because the more games and apps you have installed on the system the more load that puts on your system and games need a good amount of memory to run on computers these days

I appreciate the replies, but even with free space, no mods, nothing, the game runs at 4 fps on lowest settings.
The cutscenes are a complete slideshow. Using it on the main drive or the SD card, its the same.
Maybe it's something wrong with the deck. It's always been a little temperamental.
I've been debating buying the newer model sometime anyway, or I'll wait for the deck 2.
As for now the game runs great on my PC, but it is disappointing I can't play on the go.

It could be an issue with your stream deck system sometimes i think mine is defective too because it has a habbit of restarting itself while i am on it

Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times- finally got the game to stop getting stuck at the black screen but now the game isnt recognizing steam deck inputs. Only if i change the lay out over go mouse and keyboard can i finally interact with the game a little.

Have you ever heard of Cryo Utilities? I recommend installing it from Desktop mode, you have to setup a konsole password but it can really help perform in certain memory bound scenarios. Although if you’re only getting 4fps in Hogwarts Legacy, something is amiss. It should be performing in the 30-40 fps range at the deck’s native resolution.

Estou tentando jogar este jogo no steam deck , e fica no máximo 17fps mesmo com as configurações recomendadas , fsr2 em qualidade
E nas cenas de luta fica travando muito e com muita lentidão
Alguém sabe com resolver isso ?
