Rescue Biscuit
i know there is a bug on this achievement, but I opened the cage and they all ran away but its still saying Rescue Biscuit is not finished.
Is this the bug or is there something else to open and rescue?
Thanks

There's a couple of unicorns, you have to make sure to grab the "Biscuit" one.

There are no animals in the area at all

Update! I have started a new game as a Hufflepuff ( I was previously a Gryffindor) and the Biscuit Rescue mission has worked and Dittany has registered on the collection.

I've done a Hufflepuff play through and had zero glitches (100% game) My Gryffindor and Ravenclaw had issues

I have completed it on Hufflepuff whereas my Gryffindor had issues
'puffs must be good luck... makes sense, newt scamander was good with animals, and he was a puff!

I am also stuck on this quest but for those who say use the capture bag or use a spell to have them hold still or use revelio...nothing is in the quest range or around they have bugged out and hope for it to clear itself up in the future

The mooncalves stick around the area so you can find and trap them all if you want. They are only active at night so that might be a clue on when to do the mission.

No need for a PDA. :emberfriends: I just did the Rescue Biscuit on this save. I found out that using invisibility really helps- plus I hit them with Glacius once I get close and spam the bag. I know in another save I went back and collected the rest of the mooncalfs after turning in Biscuit. I believe it is marked as a mooncalf animal zone on the map. (might be wrong on that...it is near the Thristrials one so I may be confused.

I went back at night and stayed within the zone for 10 minutes or so while invisible and found nothing...still have been trying all day can't seem to figure it out I genuinely might cry

In my second run when I finally decided to try it (I ignored the person the first time), they escaped (because I didn't know what to expect and missed the opportunity), but they (at least several if not all) ran to a specific location, including Biscuit.

It seemed weird (and a bit eerie). So, that might be a bug. I haven't tried it on any later playthroughs. If it was a bug that they ran to one spot, trying to catch the specific one would be annoying to me.

Here's hoping everyone on this quest finds their Biscuit.

My only cheevo left is something about every monster type or some such with something in battle or some such. Long-term progress tracking of a variety collection isn't my thing. I couldn't find any achievement tracker to let me know what I had and had not done with that cheevo.

(The rest I just stumbled into. Yeah. I tumbled cows, but I didn't know that was a cheevo.)
