No it doesn't, try again.
I can pirate this game right now, nothing is stopping me beyond I dont want to.
Try reading again, i dont want to pirate, i want to buy a Denuvo free game.
I have thousands of other places i can spend my money.
What a silly argument, only AAA studios use Denuvo, and recently that is not much of a loss.
I don't have performance issues with Denuvo and I can't reference about people who claim they do, but that's not the point. The question is "Why Denuvo?"
Why Denuvo when it's just a waste of money for the publishers (and possibly passed onto buyers, though probably by negligible amounts that wouldn't result in a price reduction but, rather, profit going elsewhere instead)?
I'll buy Denuvo games as it's not a big deal, but I still wonder why publishers keep letting themselves get ripped off instead of getting income.
Denuvo seems to sway a small and loud minority of people away from legitimate purchasing (resulting in a no-play or in a pirated-play). For pretty much everyone else, it doesn't seem to do much.
Excepting that small but loud minority: People who'll buy will buy. People who won't buy but still play won't buy but still play. People who are on the fence will still make a decision as they would've anyway.
Again, Denuvo pretty much does nothing regarding purchases.
So, why Denuvo? It feels more and more like a scam against publishers.
Well, since so many publishers "waste" their money, there must be a reason, no? They can't be just that stupid?
