Though Sebastian may have best intention he is essentially a lunatic who unfortunately has the gift to persuade others to follow him. My Hufflepuff wizard didn't hesitate a second to turn him in. My Slytherin witch however may come to a different decision, once she reaches this point. :-)
In any story a character has to grow, the difference is the direction of growth, Ominis' starts as a rival and becomes a friend. Sebastian starts as a friend and declines on a sort of anti-hero path, which is still growth from a literary sense, there is no negative growth, it doesn't matter whether you perceived it as good or bad. I think they are both some of the best fleshed out characters in the story. No other characters in the game exhibit this.
and i love the rest of the npcs too but their personalities dont get many changes through the story
i can never bring mahself to turn in seb, regardless of the house of my mc- ok fine maaaaaaaaybe i'll turn him in as a puff or my gryff girl cyrene dumbledore, but im gonna be so saaaad! (i have an mc in every house but puff but i will make a puff soon who is a scammander like newt hehe)
