Game freezes on troll killing

I have now consistently had the game freeze when I killed a troll in Horklump Hollow. This has not always been the case.

I saw a bug here [hogwartslegacy.bugs.wbgames.com], but it seems quite old and has apparently not yet been fixed.

I have not had this behavior with "regular" trolls in the wild

Or is everyone crashing to fast to get to the trolls?

Sorry, dude-- I got nothing for this one. (I was able to kill those trolls just fine, FWIW.)
