The update changed the look of the game

It seems that update made the game look soft, washed out and with haze. For me the game was way sharper and colorful before the update. Has anyone else noticed this???? I am playing at my native resolution (1440p) with no dlss and the game looks low res.

YES, I have the exact same problem. I have a 4k and 1440p monitors and it looks awful on both now. I thought I was losing the plot!

So instead of fixing the game on pc, particulary the stuttering, they somehow made the port worse.... I guess the game will reamain with this look now, considerating that the perfomance issues on pc were never even acknowledged by this devs, let alone fixed.
It doesnt help that most people that play this game are kids that cant take notice in anything related to perfomance

i have encoutered same issue after latest update! Game looks like its render scale was lowered by ~30%.

Yes, lots of people seem to be reporting the same issue, including myself. It looks as though everything is over exposed and foggy/hazy. It does seem to be related to the update as it was fine before. No issues with other programs so I don't think it is display output settings etc. HDR is not enabled anywhere either.

Yeah, it looks much less vibrant now. Very overexposed.

... at least in the few minutes here and there I can experience it without crashing.

It is not changed it is broken on PS5 and 4 too. I have all three versions. You can see how it looks before if you use the photomode. On the Ps4 Pro Version if you go back into the game the fog is gone. This works not for the PC Version and PS5. Why they broke a working game on ps5. It is much more stuttering and an absoloutely unoptimized game on ps5 now too. The best on this game are a few new higher quality textures and the photomode. The photomode is standard. I´m misssing motion blur. We have motion blur in the game but not in the photo mode. They should roll back this update on all platforms and put only the new mission for the pc users and the new textures into the game. I think the higher resolution textures and the massive fog causes the the stuttering. It is volumetric fog. You can test it in the photomode and you can feel the input is much better and the camera is far less stutteriung as in game. Is the new quidditch game an dlc or is it a new game? I don´t need it.
I´m not supporting any of this cash grabbing companies anymore. I hope gaming become gaming again sometimes in the future. For the older guys play games like Command and Conquer on PC and you know what gaming was in the past. No one needs those live service games and want it anymore. I hope this kind of games wiil die and never coming back. This games are not for the players. If you want play a real game at the moment without all this microtransactions and wokeness trash and political correctness like IGN would like it play days gone and stellar blade. This are in my opinion the best ps5 games in years. Days gone is so much better than The last of us 2.
