Will there even be any DLC for this game?

I'm like 93% finished the game and I'm struggling to get there because it actually becomes so boring and tedious towards the end, every dungeon looks the same, every Merlin trial IS the same, the few quests I have left end in very anticlimactic ways and not one bad guy in the entire game lasts more than 2 seconds in a duel with me because at this point I'm so overpowered it's not even ok. I'm wondering if they will ever add any DLC to spice it up and renew my interest, like more quests or something??? Because at this point it's pretty much a shut up and take my money situation, as long as it's not just more dumb clothes or something.

When game is release as finish product, there is no need for dlc, saving gamer's money for something else.

During summer however we should get ps exclusive mission for pc.

The last bit to get 100% is a bit tedious, but you should be technically "done" with the game. The remaining bits are just for those of us who like to finish off all the bits and pieces to truly get 100% completion.

The only thing we know is the playstation exclusive mission is coming this summer to the rest of us. They kind of hint there may be something more, but it could be as simple as another paid costume DLC to something extreme like an entire new story line based on user comments/requests.

I kind of think it will be something more in the middle of those two extremes. Very likely they are keeping their powder dry for a Hogwarts 2.

I find it surprising that especially this game does not get a DLC. They could easy add another valley around Hogwarts or some new secret corridors and passages inside the castle. Much opportunities for DLCs.

However, how are they going to deliver a part two? Exploring the same castle and surroundings again (which's due to lore could not be changed much). Opening the same riddle doors again (maybe with a slightly different riddles)? Or switching to another castle and losing the famous location? Hard to imagine!

I think there is lot more in Isidora story part, her paintings was destroyed, but keepers never found her labs, who knows what other secrets to there is to find about her.

I doubt goblin rebellion ended in Ranrog's death, that could continue.

And of course there is a chance we go in totally different school.

Yeah that's what I thought too, it's pretty much guaranteed money for them. Again as long as it's not just more clothes or animals to ride, that will just piss people off.

... try fighting ranrok in the final battle, then YOU will likely be the one who doesn;t last two seconds (not being rude, ranrok's just hands down the hardest boss)
i beat ranrok on the first try but almost died, used up all my wiggenweld potions lol
dlc would be fun, but idk if it will happen, sorry about that :(

They could add mini game DLC like Quidditch add into the game, and they might had to change main story, although because I recalled early of main story said no quidditch but if player had DLC, it's can change little bit, and new mini game add to game.

I'm hoping that they will find a way to make a multiplayer game for this universe. I feel like the game has a solid foundation to build off of for a multiplayer. And I don't mean multiplayer the way Elden Ring is a multiplayer, where you are basically alone until you ask for help and suddenly you have a team member...but more open world multiplayer the way Fall Out 76 is, we are all in the same world running around, bumping into each-other, helping each other take down badies, social menu where we can make small squads.....wood be most fun.

it sounds cool! i'll never stop loving adventuring alone or with npcs tho! but im always up for multiplayer! i like a bit of everything tbh!

I know people like MP games, I'm not hating on anyone but that sucks up massive resources and dev time to implement. In no way would it be optional. If they got another company to do a MP game then fine, but I would prefer these developers continue to build up this game. There were a lot of weak spots in this game where things were there just as padding. It has a lot of potential though and I hope they can make another one that's better.

I hear you, I spend 95% of my time in fo76 running around alone...it's just fun to, sometimes, run across another player and maybe give them a hand killing things, or just trading things/giving things away.

Could also do with more Vivarium expansions. I would love to have a nursery where my offspring could grow up. And larger building spaces inside.
