Ancient Magic HotSpot
A Little NorthWest of HogsMead is a ruin keep marked as Ancient Magic. Other than Main Quest Related, this is the first time I've seen one just Out and Above. I Investigated, Infiltrated and "Something-Ated" 3 Ancient Magic Thingies; An Animation occurred, but nothing happened. However... I noted that my Ancient Magic Tubes(?) were already full, so I reloaded, Dump the Ancient Magic Tubes (on some near-by Goblins), and repeated the Ancient Magic Stuff. This time, after the animation, I noted it Refilled my Tubes.

Which brings me to the Heart of this question: Is that All that is for (the HotSpot)... to Refill the Ancient Magic Tubes? Because mine are Rarely Empty; I save them for Rough Fights, and usually that means only using one. (Note: I am playing on Easy, so maybe on Normal or Hard a HotSpot is a god-send?)

Anyways... real question is: Am I missing a Greater Point here?!?

Advanced Thanx!!!

These hotspots are too increase the total useage of your magic meter, the more of these hotspots you clear the more bars you end up with for acient magic meter.

The ancient magic spots are just more inane collection quests.

You might as well call them Merlin Trials.

Except far less, much easier and better reward.

Do you even play the game...

Hotspots end up giving you more acient meter bars, the more bars the more often your able to use acient magic.

The orbs help you to refil these bars.

Merlin trails *sarcastic* only* hands you more inventory slots, meaning you can be out and explore longer before you hit the maximum of gear you can collect.

Both are rather important to be done as they actually change the way you experience and play the game:steamthumbsup:

I do like the acient hotspots more as they are more easy to get trough but these merlin trails can be fun too at times.

Some Merlin trials are ok. Some are a pain to traverse, especially the platforming one.

You can easily do platforms ones by using broom.

I didn't . I just jump. And it was pain to complete. Among the worst Merlin Trials for me.

You all do know that this is a "GAME" and there is no Obligation to Play it. And you definitely don't have to play every aspect of it. I'm not trying to Start Anything, but some of these statements sound like someone is Forcing some of you to Play this game?

My Boss makes me submit the same Darn Report every Friday. That's something to complain about. I have to do All these Ancient Magic HotSpots. No... You don't!!!

No the hotspots don't give more ancient meter bars. They are just a collection quest. The collection entry is what unlocks the additional ancient meter bars. The hotspot itself does absolutely nothing for the player upon completion.

Just like each Merlin trial gives you absolutely nothing. it is the collection entry which gives you the additional inventory space.

So I am right and you are 100% wrong. The ancient magic hotspots are exactly like the Merlin Trials.

But you still have to do them in order to gain more ancient meter, just like you need to do merlin trials to get more inventory slots.

Unless you claim there is other way.

How wrong you can be... :steamfacepalm: it is information easy found simply by a google search, the first results wil give you your answer.

Without you doing these hotspots you only have acces too 2 acient meter bars, you do these trails and collect their collection rewards. After a certain number of them you get a extra bar.

Without doing these Merlin Trails you only have acces to 20 inventory slots to store your collected gear in, do enough merlin trail and collect their collection rewards and after a certain number you get more inventory slots.

Yea, except fulfill the requirement that completes the collection entry, which gives more ancient magic meter bars, so . . .

Circular logic you're using there, it would seem.

Seriously?!? YOU ALL Are All Correct. It's just a matter of how you want to phrase it.

So, Don't Argue Unless You Disagree with this Point; However, if You Disagree with this Point, then You should Argue.
