Vivarium Building Update
I hope that someone from Avalanche actually takes a look at these but here I go.

There should be an update for the building aspect in the vivariums. There's spaces between stairs if you want to place more than one together. There's spaces between the walls if you put them next to each other. You can't place plants up against each other, like you would see in the real world. You can't build on top of the flooring, which is most ridiculous. Overall, the building experience in the vivariums are subpar at best, what's the point of being able to build anything you want in the vivariums when you can't make it look realistic or place anything on top of anything.

Basically what it comes down to is this, there shouldn't be building restrictions in the vivariums. We should be able to place the items where ever we want, i.e. we should be able to overlap placements.
If this is something that is actually fixed/changed for the game, I know at least for myself, that I would spend a lot more hours on the game just so I could build a beautiful world in the vivariums.

I posted the same thing. Try the "Conjure Anything" mod on Nexus. It doesn't solve all the building issues but it is a huge improvement. Be warned, it will give you all the items you can conjure without finding them first. I waited until I beat the boss to download the mod.

Does this mod allow you to sit benches on the paths they provide? Because honestly not being able to do that makes me not want to bother decorating. Like, what was the point even providing flooring and benches if we can't even set benches on the flooring?

Even RoR building is terrible.

Why can't I look down more to place a rug properly? Why is everything placed 6ft to the right of my character, meaning I can't place directly in front of me in a thin area? Why can't I jump to get a better angle to make up for the aforementioned issues? Why does disable snapping not disable all snapping? Why does hovering over an unplaceable area remove the outline, making minor adjustments near impossible since you can't see where it is?

And, that's just what I could remember off the top of my head. Whole system needed a major rework since release, which they were never going to do for a non-live service game.
