That basically means completing all of the side quests as well, to get the extra experience... or just grind out trolls and such like a beast. There are two arenas that I have found on the map... and you can get experience from those as well. The arenas require you to be very good at fighting multiple strong opponents (several trolls plus henchmen/wolf packs/spider packs, etc), like fighting in the Ancient Magic trials, but about 6-7 rounds of multiple combat with very little break, getting stronger each time.
I don't know if completing all of the side quests is a requirement, or just having the level (which you will have if you complete all of the side quests). Level 34 seems kind of random, so it may be level 30... but if that doesn't work go for 34, which apparently has been tested as working. I have enough levels but I haven't finished the main quest yet (doing all of the side quests). I suspect that I will not have trouble getting the House Cup at the House Cup Ceremony.
Also, you have completed the game 100%? I don't see how that is possible, if you don't qualify for the Cup. Did you simply not attend the Ceremony?
