Can I Disable Ansel?
For my gaming pleasure, I have no need for Ansel, I just use Steam Overlay if needed. Is there a way of disabling Ansel from running, when play the game?

Thanks

Ansel support is compiled into HL, but you don't need to use it. So don't hit Alt-F2...?

Two ways:
1: Rename or move the "ansel.dll" (\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Engine\Plugins\Runtime\Nvidia\Ansel\Binaries\ThirdParty)
2: Turn OFF ansel in Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Ansel. NvCameraConfiguration IF it is even installed anymore. You can find it here: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4932
or dig around here: c:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_d223212c0a2275b5\NvCamera\ NvCameraEnable.exe -off

I use the NvCameraConfiguration, works like a charm. Make sure to run it and disable Ansel after every driver update.

It's nvidia's very powerful screenshot program.

I actually kept that nvidia/ansel folder from older driver intsalls and copy it back, because more recent driver packages (I think) integrate it into Experience, so to make Ansel work without installing Experience requires a little more effort.

yeah they have moved the (Ansel) folder to that long convoluted link i posted above, and also removed the configurator it self.
Bad Move Nvidia

just a tiny thingy "built in" to the drivers and games that lets you take 63K (and above) screenshots, when the measly 4K just don't cut it.
