Stuck on Percival Rackham trial glitch…

I am stuck at the very end of the Percival Rackhams trial. I’ve seen others stuck there but no fixes found via ppl who have been in the same boat.

Right after the boss, there is a memory to watch via the percival found in the next room. For some reason the waypoint doesn’t update for me after defeating the boss and is stuck in his room, and not at the the percival. Interacting with the percival removes in the interact button but doesn’t trigger the cutscene. I am able to go back to the map room after that, but can’t do anything afterwards. Can’t fast travel, leave the room, interact with anything… soft locking me in.

Reloading auto saves doesn’t fix the issue for me.

It's not a fix/fix, but for those just replaying the game. I looked through my other chars. 1 had a save at 27 hours of play. I'm obviously past that bug part, though further into it. At least I can keep playing. Who knows, you guys might have those saves on your alts.

same bug here no other characters as I had just cleared them out :/ No mods on at all

Same issue here. Tried restarting the game, and computer, removing mods, and even starting the entire quest from the map room. No good. Still stuck not being able to stick my head in the water to gain the wisdom of the keepers.

Same issue and cannot progress. Just stopped playing for now and waiting for a patch :(

Same here. Lots of exploring so 30 hours in. Cannot view Percivels Memories. Completely broken. No way to progress, and no update from WB.

This sucks.

Same problem here. Tried everything as Well. What a shame that they didnt fixed this Bug by now. Guess I have to wait too or exploring the whole map during that :|

You can make a manual save in a new slot, and then run around and explore a bit, and reload said save when the patch drops kind of thing.

Not great, but it really blows to have spent 60$ on a holiday weekend only to get bugblocked at the end of chapter one.

Going by what the fix does, it seems like mods are what broke the game, specifically those that change the sql database.

Good to know there's a way to fix it now but I unistalled it a while ago.

This glitch seems to have become far more common (it has existed since the game launched) after the most recent patch. I am having the same issue and unfortunately based on my own experience and what I'm reading online, there is no workaround for this glitch anymore, and it is truly game breaking due to the recent patch.

However, I have seen one recent mention of someone saying it has to do with the way the recent patch interacts with mods, and they were able to fix this glitch by removing their mods (temporarily) and completing the quest and then adding back their mods. I have not had the time to try this yet personally, but can confirm I am using a few simple (mostly cosmetic) mods. I would implore you to try this option as currently, without another patch fixing this issue all of us affected will have to simply shelf the game.

Please let us know if this works for you so everyone else online can be saved from this horrible bug!

UPDATE: WB is now aware of this issue and currently investigating it. PLEASE go to the link below and upvote this issue so that hopefully it will be given the proper attention it needs!

This worked for me using Vortex for my installs, not sure if it'll happen on other memories tho

Yes the latest patch fixes the bug for some people. Not many though, tbh. And removing all mods fixes it for others, but very few indeed. For everyone else, the mod on Nexus will save you. It works for absolutely everybody: https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/1364
