PC DualSense support
Hey there fellow wizards and witches! The latest patch apparently added DualSense support to the PC version.

I tried if the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback work. Haptics seem to work at least partially (while walking in the dark area while fighting the armors/knights in the beginning of the game) but the triggers aren't doing anything while casting spells for example. There aren't any DualSense specific controller settings in the menus either.

Has anyone managed to get these DualSense features to work properly? I have tried disabling and enabling the Steam controller input, but the best results I've gotten are as I've written above. Thanks!

same here buddy, haptics on combat, acenstral magic, flight. No triggers, I tried like you and no luck, with regular dualsense and edge. Also no led color shift and no speaker, but hey we GOT HAPTICS

Hey,
same here, but I just have the basic / normal rumble, i don't feel the haptics or the triggers... what config are you using? steam input on or off?

Hi, thanks for the replies! I think the DualSense support is bugged at the moment. Devs will probably fix this later, at least I really hope so... Currently I have Steam input off, some PC games with DualSense features require turning it off for some reason.

I see... what's strange for me it's that with steam input off I have no rumble at all :steamsad: I have to activate the input for playstation. But yeah, it seems bugged!

Just in case anyone was having the same problem:

Turn on (if you turned it off before, like me) the "wireless controller" speaker and microphone from sound settings on Windows. And, check that steam imput off !

Now i have the haptics and stuff, not triggers yet

Do you also have lights on dualsense when using spells. Cause I don't.

When in the hell are they going to get this to work? It has been a problem since last year. Works totally fine on the PS5. It should just map right over.

Dualsense features are only working intermittently for me. No idea why. When they work it's great, the haptics are amazing and the resistant triggers are definitely working as intended. When the features aren't working, my controller doesn't have any haptics at all, it's just completely lackluster.

do you get light and sound effects from controller too?

A little late to the party, but same here. Haptics for combat/flight working, but not triggers/sound/colors on controller.

I found the most consistency comes from:
-Controller plugged in
-Open Steam in Big Picture mode
-Disable Steam Controller Input
-And as OP mentioned in your PC sound settings, make sure Wireless Controller audio is enabled

Hopefully they update this and get the triggers working before we finish the game...

No. Haptics work just fine but trigger support is still not here and probably won't be. It's alright though, the haptics are really good in this game and it's fine for me.
