Professor Rackham trial is bugged after patch

I can't get by the first trial after the patch.
I have tried reloading previous saves, checking file integrity,and abandoning quest and doing again.
Nothing works so far.
I kill the big guardian guy, it raises the walkway to the room, but when I click on the pansieve it just does nothing.
The purple area on boss area is still there and acts like it isn't acknowledging the kill and not updating.
Any suggestions? Or is this a wait for the bug to be fixed?

Same. Nothing I do fixes it. Literally completely stuck no matter what I've tried. Even a full reinstall. Still nothing.

the Warner Bros Games bug reporting tool to find and vote for the bug, so they might start to fix this issue, I guess devs are not reading end-user bug reports on Steam..

We will see what happens. They emailed me asking for my "corrupted save". Honestly, if I've lost 10 hours of progress I probably will not touch this game for another 6 months out of frustration.

I did go and vote on this issue as I also am having the same problem. My question is, would it do any good for everyone having this issue to report the bug on the WB site or just vote? I have not opened a bug report since it has already been done and at this point has 90 votes.

I would say just trying to drive everyone who is experiencing this glitch to this one report would be better than individually posting the same issue; they might remove or forward "duplicate" posts anyways. WB is obviously already aware of it, and having more people upvote and comment on what is already there and being supervised should have the greatest impact...hopefully.

P.S. I apologize if I am posting this information everywhere obnoxiously, I am not trying to be annoying, just trying to get it out there all over the place so hopefully we can get this issue upvoted a bunch and fixed ASAP.

It's literally been 10 days and still no hotfix... Sorry that I have nothing important to add here - just wanting to comment how annoyed I am that I haven't been about to play this game for a week...

I also ran into this bug last night, I had made a new character as I wanted to try playing through as the non-gendered but female presenting toon and I couldn't get past the trial. I have other saves that still work so its not a huge deal but its still very annoying.
