Low GPU and CPU Usage with Zotac RTX 4090 on Hogwarts Legacy
Hello fellow Hogwarts Legacy players,

I'm using a Zotac Gaming RTX 4090 Trinity graphics card, playing at 4K HDR resolution with a G-sync compatible monitor. However, despite my high-end hardware, I'm experiencing low GPU and CPU usage, which is causing subpar frame rates in the game.

My CPU usage hovers around 31-40%, while my GPU usage remains between 50-65%. The frame rate stays between 40 and 60 FPS (with frame generator on), regardless of the DLSS settings I use. I've tried adjusting the DLSS settings from Quality to Ultra Performance, but the FPS remains the same, with the only change being a drop in GPU usage.

So far, I've tried the following troubleshooting steps with no success:

1. Checked for CPU bottlenecks
2. Updated GPU drivers
3. Adjusted in-game settings
4. Verified game files
5. Installed the latest game updates
6. Reset graphics settings to default
7. Monitored component temperatures
8. I have 32GB RAM.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their RTX 4090 or other high-end GPUs? Additionally, I'd appreciate any suggestions from the community on what might be causing this issue and potential fixes.

Hope they issue few more patches to fix this ASAP.

Whats your CPU?

Even at 30-40% CPU-Load a CPU bottleneck can happen.

Completely turn off all g sync options, use the nvidia control panel adjust image settings with preview option and set it to balanced. Then go into manage 3d settings and make sure monitor tech. is on fixed refresh, power management set to max, and v-sync to on.

I had the same issue with a 3080 until i did this. Now my main issue is that sometimes it plays smooth and other times it stutters regardless of where i am at. Also how much RAM does it use for you? I've seen mine go as high as 26 GB.

DLSS works perfectly fine in Hogwarts.

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, is it necessary to replace it by Intel i9-13900?

Pardon, I don't understand.
After I bought all these equips, RTX4090, OLED panel with Gsync Compatible, I can only return to the stone-age-playing-style?
I don't know how this happens?
So, there's really something went wrong when the designer built up this game and they failed to fix it?
