I actually got stumped for a minute or two on the library side before I noticed the lamp. It was too far off to see the highlight and I went library first so hadn't connected the dots.

I had also set this questline up as a "Last quest" before I take a break and was surprised by the dungeon.

But man, what a blast. And then the boss fight with Cassandra after?! *Mind blown.*

What happens if you choose not to free Penny?

Oh ♥♥♥♥, it's PS5 only? My bad. :( Man this quest was easily the highlight so far. At least go check it out on Youtube or something.

Well it's on PC now... I too would like to know if there are any comments etc if you don't free Penny...

The difference is only some slightly different dialogue. The outcome is the same, Penny will work the store for you. She'll even be just as friendly towards you.

I kinda wish they'd forgotten to put all the hints into the formerly-PS5-exclusive additional content.

My 5th year walks into a room and immediately says that I should use the lantern that's on the other side of a window that I haven't been able to see because it's behind the camera when entering the room and it would take more than 0.5 seconds to turn get a good scan of the place before telling people an obvious hint.

Ugh. The hint system's been a rather consistent complaint. Even kids 1/10th my age wouldn't need such handholding.

Every Quest puzzle has this kind of hints. But yeah, this one has a strange timing.

I don't remember hints in mine. I got stuck on that part for a while.
