unable to enter hidden herbology corridor

Hello, in venomous valour quest, I have found the entrance of the hidden herbology corridor but I am unable to enter because the spell Incendio does not work on the vines. Am I missing something here?

Guess it should work if it's burning vines. (been a while don't remember what i did)
Quest should also mention what is required when you click on it in Quests menu (not sure if it does After you have started it)

it says that I need to cast incendio on the vines. I have seen videos working on it. its just that it doesnt work for me

Correction, I saved, quit and when I loaded the vines were gone
