Can't get 2nd broom upgrade

I cannot get the 2nd broom upgrade. People say its locked behind "In the Shadow of the Mine". Nope. I did that too and still Albie Weekes has no upgrade to offer me despite being the trial. HELPPP

It took a while for me to get it too. I just progressed in the story and used the flames to move around.

I did the same thing and noticed that the 2nd upgrade takes a bit longer to be released by Albie, do some other quests and you should get an OWL post whenever it is ready.

Some have suggested checking the Owl Post page in the menu to see if any letters did not appear, as some players have reported not receiving the popup notification even after completing the quest.
