We never see the rest of the Slytherin students, who are probably normal kids just trying to study
For me at least, i'm glad they made Slytherins normal kids and not evil racist little monsters. I never bought the story that EVERY slytherin is evil, and EVERY slytherin is a racist blood purist.
Honestly, if every single slytherin really IS a racist little evil monster, then the school would be better at expelling anyone the very moment they were sorted into Slytherin, or just putting them to death entirely since they're so irredeemable. Having one house always evil is a dumb plot device i never liked from the books
So you are suggesting that Hogwarts should kill children, right?
Not in the slightest, i'm pointing out how stupid it is to expect every single Slytherin to be a evil little racist
If every single slytherin is a evil little racist who is guaranteed to grow up to become a serial killer, you'd think Hogwarts would do something about it like expel them immediately or outright remove Slytherin as a House
I've never been convinced all slytherins are evil, despite what Harry might think and believe in the books. Most of them are probably normal kids just trying to pass their exams and not caring about the petty rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor
So again, you suggest to kill children or expel those humans you dont agree with?
Imelda who you need to beat in the broomstick races makes fun of every other house and of you unless and until you start beating her times.
I've come across students making fun of Muggles and Muggle born who are not Slytherin, as well as heard a Howler of a Mother yelling at her son (Not Slytherin) for making friends with a Muggle born student. These kind of 'traits' are not limited to only Slytherin.
The Slytherins that I met in game are a mix of, eager for power, over achievers, wanting nothing but the best, untrusting towards others and harsh.
There's definitely blood purists and house rivalries among the students, though its simply not as exaggerated as in the Harry Potter series because there was no Voldemort to unite under back then.
He even secretly cares for Harry.
Horace Slughorn was either a Slytherin.
Even though he accidently gave away crucial info about darkest black magic to Tom Riddle, he is either considered a good guy.
When he is a double-agent, he is not a real slytherin.
Is it true that Harry was supposed to be a Slytherin but begged the hat to be put into Gryffindor?

In Chambers of Secrets, Harry meets the sorting hat once more in the headmasters office and asks him, if he actually got sorted correctly.
The sorting hat then tells him, that it was a difficult choice and Slytherin would have been a good match.
Harry then once more tells the hat, that it's wrong.
Yet this conversation shows, that the hat in fact wanted to sort Harry into Slytherin and only Harry's personal decision was taken into account.
And as of telling the hat that Slytherin would have been wrong, he possibly never regretted that decision and was happy to be in Gryffindor.
I think this conversation ultimately strengthend Harry's believe about the house he was in, which allowed him to draw the Sword of Gryffindor out of the hat later on in the same movie.
Not sure about the book though, but I guess it's far more detailed there.
