Game not fun enough (just one player's opinion)

I was on the fence for the first 12 hours of gameplay or so.

When I got to 20 hours, I finally threw in the towel. At the point where I learned I have to catch, brush, and feed animals to upgrade gear. Too many of the things you do in this game are basic and repetitive. Reminds me of animal crossing.

-combat not quite enjoyable enough. This was fine for a while...I have played through games that I didn't fully like the combat like witcher 3 for example

-exploration is a bit too hand-fed and it feels like I am just flying to the next icon, selecting the spell they want me to cast at this icon, casting it, and flying to the next icon...repeat 1000 times.

Some of the quests are okay. Puzzles not quite as good as zelda-BotW which isn't a super high bar

It's overall fine, but the biggest issue is that it's not hard enough. Probably all of game's difficulties need to become like 40% harder in everything, gold gain from everything included.

I disagree with everything you say here.
Just get a auto feeder for you beast, you just brush them all and it doesnt even take 2 minutes to loot all your beast. It's still soo much better then most rpg games where you need to grind to get better gear.
Combat is fun, it gets even more fun when you have more spells for better combos. But it is too easy.
Exploration is fun in this game, there are so many things to discover. YOU decide where you go.
I love the puzzles in the game. Not everyone likes super hard puzzles.

I feel you. At first I thought I was going to play through every house and was happy about all the things you can discover. But after about 15 hours, I realized that most of it is just repetitive and dazzling (the houses, for example). The only things I still enjoy are the battles and putting together outfits...
However, that's just my opinion and I don't begrudge anyone the fun they have with this game.

For me is Game of The Year. Repleacing with mod all LGBT stuff in game make game with normal sound for men and women and some dialogues makes perfect and friendly for kids game
