New Biscuit bug...he runs away.

So in rescuing biscuit, I opened the lock with no problem and tried to get biscuit, but he, along with all of the other mooncalf's were scattering. I missed on my first two bag casts, then hunted for the next 20 minutes inside and outside the purple quest circle where the quest says he is. No Biscuit....

So after trying a few other things, I tried using the skip ahead in time feature from the map. It didn't work the first time, but after going outside of the purple quest field on the map, skipping ahead until night time, I went back and all of the mooncalves, including Biscuit were back in the now opened cage and all ran, but I was able to target lock him, go invisible, get close and capture.

You could use Levioso and capture him. That's how I approach every beast anyway.

also cast hold on animal then capture; this give you more time to capture it but make sure you are as close to said animal as possible while invisible(this will give you more to time during the capture process).

I think that one is supposed to try to run. I don't know of anyone who didn't have that runner in that quest.

That's how it's supposed to be, but you can stop it with magic

It'll wander about inside the purple circle. Use Disillusionment to hide and wait for it to come to you. When it gets close, use Levioso, then Capture. Easy peasy.

Using glacius is the probably the easiest way to catch every single creature in the game.

This is a bug. If you don't catch Biscuit, he will runaway never to be seen again. Unfortunately there is no working solution.

Change to story mode for capture , all you have to do is open bag and it will be caught. Very easy. Kind of cheating ???

I captured the one shown in pictures but it says it just random mooncalf. I set it free and now nothing for 3 straight days. Any workaround?

i have the same problem. Cage is open but no biscuit or other mooncalfs i can see. its making me crazy. i cant make 100% achievments because of this. and they dont want to fix it :( pls can someone help me maybe?

If you travel too far from the capture zone biscuit and the other mooncalfs disappear forever and the quest will be broken for good. Found that out the hard way
