First trial BUG

The first trial had a BUG that prevented me from using the Pensieve. The quest guide was stuck on completing the trial. After the final BOSS Protector is no use, still stuck in finishing the trial. This is the latest BUG. When will it be repaired?

I tried to uninstall the mod by following the comments. I uninstalled the mod and it didn't even have a character in the login screen. Install the mod back to enter the game normally. I guess we'll just have to wait for the official BUG fix. I don't know when they'll fix it. But thanks for sharing.

remove mods, load up save from before the boss room door even opens, touch nothing and just walk in, if the quest changes to "defeat the guards" you're good to go.

Is this actually a fix? I swear I've tried everything including that and nothing's worked.

I don't know if it's THE fix but it's what got me passed the bug. By touch nothing I mean not even the chest that's right outside the boss room, just empty all your mods in the pak folder load up a save from before you enter the boss room and if you walk in and it switches the quest title from complete the trial to defeat the guards you're not bugged anymore.

I never had this bug until the last UPDATE THAT WAS FORCED ON ME!

It's fkn ridiculous that one has to turn to an amatuer modder for a fix to a game breaking bug in a AAA game.

recently i just stumble into this bug,kinda messed up the saves and i was forced to go on foot from hogwarts back to the tower but the door was closed so then i was forced to load the manual save before entering the trial...so i have to do it again

but hey.. atleast i can finish it now

I haven't played since the last update, and all of my current characters are past this point, but I'll keep an eye out for this one on new characters.

Is there any way to skip the trial or something idk what to do. Can i play anymore. And when are they fixing it

after the fight before you go to the Pensieve save the game and exit the game, remove all mods restart go through the Pensieve, it will work then.

This might work. But it doesn't work for most people.

The game devs think they fixed this a year ago but they didn't. The bug is therefore marked as "fixed" when it's not fixed. There is no sign that the game devs will ever fix it properly.
