go to nexus and download?

You need to register with Nexus website and then download the mod/s of your choice.

Or sometimes, mod makers upload to places like github or their other server sites so you'd go to those, if you know of them, and download. Not all mods are always on Nexus.

It seems intimidating if you've never done it before. 90% of them are download a file from a mod site, it'll tell you where to find your game's mod directory, drag and drop. That's it. Nexus Mods is your best bet.

Game has a good mod support from what I see, since all you need to do is go to
X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks

And make a new folder called '~mods'
Slap the mods inside that folder and they should work without issue.

And while you're at Nexus, grab Vortex. Watch the tutorial vidoes it got, and start modding a tad safer.
