Maybe adjust settings? I'm on Ryzen 5-5600X and RX-6800 and game runs flawless.

Whats your monitor resolution? You might have prematurely went to 1440p or 4K. Very few systems can run that now.

My resolution is 1366*768

Based on resolution - are we talking laptop? If so, 3050 mobile is ok mid-range laptop but it's not very strong either, especially for newer titles that are going to be very hardware demanding. 4gb vram is one limit, and if it's one of the lower TDP variants, possibly even worse.

At any rate, since you don't say what game settings you're trying you're just going to have to fiddle with settings. For example, maybe you should try a lot more Medium and Low settings vs. High, etc. Turn DLSS on Performance or lower, stuff like that. You can also search the forum for the various Engine.ini tweaks that might help with severe frame pacing stutter and/or lower end/low v-ram gpu's.

Jesus. I had a better monitor than that 20 years ago.
You have a low end graphics card

Ya it's old! You could get a better one for $10 at a thrift store.
If you can't be bothered to use proper hardware this is what you get. A 3050 is very very low end bordering on why does it even exist. If someone needs simply video output then they would get something even more low end, and if they want to game .... then they'd want something stronger. It's pretty silly.

it runs like ♥♥♥♥ on high end machines too. it's just bad software.

Please. It runs fine outside of mild stutter and dips in Hogsmeade and Hogwarts.

Jesus Christ you all have literal trash for PC's and you blame the devs for making next gen games. Maybe spend less time crying and more time upgrading your ♥♥♥♥ systems.

You need to get off the Internet

Bro MSI RTX 3050 is not a low end card please don't comment here if you don't have proper knowledge.

I've got a 5600x, 32 GB RAM and a RTX 3070 an my game is also lagging in some areas. Raytracing is off. Res is 1440p. The other settings all ultra. In most areas i've got 90 - 110 fps but in some areas it drops to 10-30 fps and stutters. For example the Quest where you have to rescue the Dragon and his Egg.
Sometimes the game will also crash. I tryed all the workarounds from the community like limiting the shader cache to 10 GB in the nvida settings or the ascendio hotfix. Its much better now but in some cases the game will crash or stutter or lag pretty hard. It has nothing to do with weak hardware. Its just not a good pc port.

It literally is low end.

Or is 780 Ti still high end? Come on.
