Anyone do a second or subsequence playthrough?
Not counting doing achievement but rather you replay the game because you enjoy it and want to try new things

I plan to. Not sure when I'll get around to it. But would want to play as a different house, just for fun. I have a few friends that are waiting for it to come out on their consoles. I will be done by then and will probably want to play through again.

I usually don't i'll generally instead take my time and try to do everything first time around. Bought the game when first released on Steam and only at 33% completion. I play maybe about 4 hours each time I play. So i'm really pacing myself. Should take me atleast another week or two before I get close to finishing it. So a bit different for me compared to people already on there second or third playthrough.

I tried three times for achievement for various houses. And one mission is all that makes any difference. I do not care to play another time game, where everything except this one mission will look exactly the same like during first run. In Witcher 3 or CP2077 your choices in some points ar reflected in later game or in final cutscenes; HL you can run on the second time with your eyes close, as nothin - literally nothing - will change.

I don't see enough variation in the game to warrant a second playthrough. I'm also a fairly thorough player, so the chance to encounter something that I haven't seen before seems low. I could try to consistently pick the dialog choices that I didn't take before, but as far as I can tell, the quests would mostly continue in the same way.

I'll probably do one character for each other house to see their common rooms, and I might play them until the discovery of the map chamber for the achievement, not sure. I strongly doubt that I'll go beyond that. There are so many other interesting games that I'd like to play, and exploring new things is more appealing to me than repeating things I already did.

I'm in a similar situation like you. In my first playthrough of any game I always try to do everything possible, every mini quest, every collectible etc. so I feel like there is no incentive for a second playthrough in this game, unlike some other games like Elden Ring (new builds, try new weapons FTW). So I just want to make this thread to see if there is anything that warrant a second or third playthrough of this game.

There are different endings to the game depending on choices if what I've been told is correct. I'm still on my first play through.

That's correct, but all of those choices are made in the very last mission of the main quest. If you save your game before the end boss, you can pick up from there and choose a different ending - there is no need to play through the entire game again just for that. (I've also heard that the differences aren't that significant, but can't tell if that's true).

do you still find the game interesting? do you discover new things in your 2nd playthrough? what else do you intend to do differently?

I'll definitely start another playthrough for a different house. However, I still haven't finished my current one. A lot of things about this game just feel wrong (the infamous bartender is not even one of them).

Might do another play-through if they release a significant amount of new content. If they don't, there's no point IMO. (Though playing through twice at once anyway, my character then one character where my Fiancee and I are playing through together taking turns controlling whats going on w/ remote play)

If I did another run would purely be for picking different dialogue options and perhaps playing without the unforgivable curses. Nice that we're able to learn them but they trivialize everything, granted this combat is fairly annoying, especially with 4 slots and needing to switch around. I might still take avada kedavra tho, trolls take too long for my taste.

No. Never. Of you 100% it you have done and seen all. There is nothing to explore.

Yes, it is still interesting for me, and I've discovered new things. I mostly like the combat and killing stuff. I like to travel around the map, (not flying) wiping out every camp and lair I find. Kill, kill, kill! Hahahah! I don't like puzzles, though.
