Am I crazy?

So, I went to Cragcroft and walked around, getting treasures and stuff, normal stuff

But I saw two bad guys, I walked their way and I saw a caged up hippogriff, I tried to open, didn't do anything, I killed the guys, tried again, couldn't do anything, I turned away for split second and the Hippogriff and the cage had dissapeared

Am I crazy? or did I see it?

In my case I unlocked a cage with 2 bullfrogs, and they would not leave the cage, tried everything to let them know YOU ARE FREE NOW, nothing-duh.

I can confirm that.

I even tried the sack on them just to get the notification "You cannot catch caged beasts",




In addition to that, the lock of that cage had bugged graphics:
