Gamebreaking bug

Hi everyone,

i have encountered a game breaking bug.
After learning incendio i press tab and put it to one of the slots.
Afterwards a popup message came up telling me that i have to press tab (i changed my keyboard layout) to select the spell and place it to the spell slots.
But pressing tab does nothing anymore.
The game is running, music is playing, but i can't press anything that makes an effect beside alt+f4.
The big issue now is that after restarting the game i am in the exact same situation and pressing keys keeps having no effect and therefore i can't continue.

Hmm, that's odd. I have changed pretty much all of my keybinds, and did not encounter such an issue. My key for accessing the spell setup screen is "Q", the game correctly prompts me to press "Q", and pressing "Q" works correctly in my game.

Not sure if there is anything special about the Tab key that would break the functionality, but have you tried reverting to the default keybinds? This can be done from the main menu, but does require you to press and hold a key.

Maybe delete the ini with the control mapping and validate game files let it download a clean version.
