Tried to make it as easy to follow as possible. But Basically, if you face the gate to go down to the ghost party, turn left, its at the end of the hall. You can see the highlighted item in the bottom left of the image, I have searched everywhere, I am positive this door leads down there.
There is nothing you can do with that wall that looks like door. It isn't part of the necessities for your collections.
Remember that items you think are behind it may actually be else where, remember the mini map will also show (and vary depending on the plane you're character is standing at) whether there is an accessible room or not as well.
Keep also in mind some chests and items are in the different houses of the school and unless you're in that house, while you can detect them, they're not accessible to you with that specific character. This too will not effect your character.
[The blue archway you see with Revelio seems like one of the number door puzzles in another area.]
Teleport to "Lower Grand Stairs", turn right at the intersection, follow the winding hallway until you see a room with spiral stairs to the left. Instead of going there, go forward a few steps until the hallway turns left. Turn right instead and face the wall.
I've noticed that door as well and I think I had an "Interact" prompt there at some point, but pressing the "Interact" key had no effect. I no longer see that prompt though, so perhaps that was from a different area.
My guess has been that this is an exit from an area that you reach through other means, but I could of course be wrong.
Also I thought that door could be a math one. But the fact that the icons are not glowing with the door like they normally do, suggests it's not that.
The object that is interactable that you are seeing? Is tbe stone relief/carving you used Reparo on during that sidequest.
Yea that interactive door is in the scriptorium, thanks! I guess the false wall was maybe an entrance they were going to use and just didn't change the art after moving it.
The false wall is the way we entered the Scriptorium during In The Shadow Of the Study. The other door you can reenter the Scriptorium at is the door you exit out of at the end of In The Shadow Of the Study.
