How to empty pots

I fully accept that I'm an idiot.
I'm playing on Steam Deck, I interact with a pot, it gives the option to empty the pot with left button...I'm pressing everything and it's not emptying. Is there some trick I'm missing?

The option should appear when you interact with the pot - at least, that's the way it is for me.

As a last resort, consider despawning the whole pot. That SHOULD work.

Yeah, it comes up but I can't figure out what button I'm supposed to hit! I've tried them all!

I know nothing about Steam Deck, but ... are you clicking the button, or holding the button. I'm pretty sure I recall that you have to hold the button for several seconds to empty the pot.

I have the same problem. I am pressing, holding, pressing ans holding, tapping the Morse code, I can't empty the pots, any size. Have you figured out how to do it on Steam?
