PC gaming has become a joke
I have an AMD 6700xt card and i5-9400f. Not high end specs, but pretty mid-ranged. I can barely run this game at stable 60fps on MEDIUM at 1440p. There's seriously something wrong when a $600 console can do better than a $1000 pc build

It's your hardware. Not the game. The game runs fine for most.

1) You cannot run ultra at 1440p on your card
2) what is your power supply?

You may get away with 1440p High/Medium with RTX

If you have a mid-ranged computer, why wouldn't you expect medium settings?
What then would be the point of high and ultra settings if high end computers aren't needed for them?
Sure, there are specific things you can turn off to bump up other things to get the game to look great, but the point I'm making is, a PS5 is NOT running the game on ultra.

recommended specs for high settings 1080p is a RX 5700 XT

surely it's not unreasonable to assume a RX 6700 XT can do high on 1440p?

No, you are just running outdated hardware and expecting something you cant afford.

I play at 1440p with a 2600X and a 2060 Super just fine. With DLSS and a combination of high and medium settings. You must have something eating away your frames.

This is your fault for not doing the research on your computer before you bought it. Even an old ass gtx 1080 smokes that garbage you have in your pc
