If so what happens to mine if I get 2 silvers to replace the ones I have?
I do have the black hippogriff and thestral. They are not, as far as I can tell, shiny. You can release them, but I am not sure if you can use regular beasts as mounts. You should be able to, but I don't see how.
If you don't have the DLC for it you can't use a Thestral as a mount no matter how many of them you have in your vivariums or Nabsack. Same with the black hippogryph if you don't have the DLC for that.
The beast mounts you can select seem to be wholly independent from the beasts you have "rescued", you just happen to get a named beast version of the mount options when you unlock them as a mount.
Thanks for clarifying. I felt like that would be a bad solution, so I hoped it wasn't done that way, but, okay.
The shiny graphorn jack is an albino - or at least, white. Looks pretty great. I don't have that many shinies, though - pride of place goes to a shiny gold unicorn.
Spawned on my way to one of Natsais missions.
