denuvo isn't malware though... you do realise that malware is malicious software right? nothing malicious about a drm...
seriously, I see this claim over and over again, why do you think denuvo constitutes as malware?

https://youtu.be/YBWwRK6KsK0
not to mention denuvo is still running in the cracked version...
ever heard of this thing called a contract?
next time do a more thorough job when researching. it is not your job to find evidence of your claim(that results in a case like this where you ignore all the evidence that doesn't fit your narrative). when researching it is your job to find an answer to your question, not to find proof for the answer you already made up in your head. when doing research with blinders on you will always find something to "prove" your stance. it is critical to have an open mind during your research
Checked a bit, and you are right, the crack is on the day0 version so it is even worse looking than the Steam version ( or maybe the Epic version is better)
Studios usually keep Denuvo in while they want to release DLC s and extra content... so we will see.
Though I would really appreciate if most studios just stopped torturing UE4 and moved on.
as for being a game dev, thats not a big leap when you go look at my profile achievements...
lmao, keep those jesters coming. probably easier to hand those out than actually reply
The cult and the companies who control it believe the ends justify the means. fortunately, they're blaming all paying customers for piracy that no amount of digital locks and prevent. Why are we being punished because a tiny fraction of people who bought the game decided to share it? Why are gamers always at fault for everything? For an industry as insanely lucrative as video games, it's amazing how greedy companies are, and how malicious toward the people who buy their games by the millions.
I looked at the link. Most of the games showed worse performance. Hogwarts wasn't listed. I'll continue to rely on the "empress" benchmark.
unwanted =/= unauthorized.
its always funny to see the ones spreading around misinformation telling us we are the "cult"...
denuvo hardly impacts performance when properly implemented, only actually taxes old ass cpu's and doesn't actually invade your privacy...
you thinking you are being punished isn't the same as you being punished. in reality, denuvo impacts your games far less than you are led to believe...
worse by less than 1% in quite a few cases... you are talking about a single fps.
also, cracks still run denuvo in the background, so yeah... there is indeed something different between the legit and empress version, denuvo isn't one of those things
dont be smart when digital foundry and everyone in the industry said there is major issues with the game right now in certain areas, even on 4090 and latest cpus.
