Not fully using GPU

Hey guys

My game is only using 40% of my gpu while playing. Im getting lag and stuttering in places like hogsmede. i've set the game to high priority and running as admin. Any idea how to utilise more of my gpu?

i9 12900k
32gb ddr5 ram
Asus rog strix 3090 OC

Have you managed 3D settings (find powersaving setting and changed it to - maximum performance, instead of the default Optimal power) ?, Try that. (If Nvidia (i dunno if its the same for others) - Rightclick geforce experience>Nvidia controlpanel>handle 3D settings>Program settings>find hogwartslegacy>find Energysaving>change to maximum performance.

And what's your CPU usage? Is the game installed on an SSD or HDD?

Because game is core limited, or you have ray tracing enabled. The way i did it was add visually enhanced configs for engine.ini for way better draw distance to utilize my 3090 more and now i'm at an always 60-80 fps with 100% gpu. Mine's also with 5x longer draw distance lol.

Games installed on an M.2 SSD. CPU usage is anywhere between 20 - 40%
