I started seeing this bug after the last game patch as well. I had all three RT features turned on, and the RT Quality set to High. If I changed the RT Quality setting to Ultra, the problem went away. Yes, my framerate went down, thankfully it didn't go down so far that it bothered me. I haven't tried RT Quality settings below High, so I don't know if it's just an issue at High, or if it's "less than Ultra" that triggers it for me.

Interesting - I'm running everything on Ultra and it was still showing up until I turned off my Ray Tracing Shadow setting then it was fine! I'm also updating drivers for a patch that released today and will see if that fixes it too!

The nvidia hotfix worked wonders for me, no joke. Gained the ability to max out everything and have all ray-tracing options on medium and still get 60-80 fps most of the time (excluding Hogsmead.) I couldn't do half of that before the hotfix and I'm running a 3090

Good to know! Did you have the brightness issue at all?

I'm still seeing the brightness problem even with the driver released today. Changing the RT Quality from High to Ultra does seem to help, but the lighting is still a bit wonky. Next time I'm going to try is playing with RT Shadows off, but RT Lighting and AO still on. To be fair, this is probably the biggest issue I've had with the game so far. For the most part it plays pretty well on my system.

Good to know, let me know if turning off ray tracing shadow option works for you too!

One other lighting issue I noticed is that the reflections seem to be a bit... much, with the latest patch. Even with the RT Quality set to Ultra. Turning off RT Reflections clears it up. I noticed it particularly inside the Three Broomsticks, but it also showed up inside Hogwarts. So basically, if you've got really wonky lighting-related issues, turn off the ray-tracing for now.

Thought it was fixed but then started up again when I was back in Hogwarts unfortunately!

RT SHadows on or off makes no difference, same with AO. Its Reflections that's messed up.
Low, High; Ultra don't make much or any difference either. Indoors, especially Hogwart is a BLOOM nightmare.
Cant see the new "hotfix" nvida driver do much either. All it do is fixing the telemetry bug eating cpu.

Good to know! I'm not having any issues as long as RT Shadows is turned off!

Still all clear of the lighting issue? It keeps popping back up for me unless I keep RT shadow off - minor nuisance but wondering if there is another fix!

Been playing this game on and off for a while, and this issue only just appeared for me after the patch this week. Noticed the game told me I needed to update Adrenalin (I had downgraded while troubleshooting something else which turned out to be a cable issue). Did that, then started up for the first time in about a week, and when I got to a spot where the sun was at the right angle, it just became blindingly bright everywhere...just as I approached a bunch of angry goblins, naturally.

Have everything set to Ultra including RT, locked 60fps (I have basic 1080p60 Dell monitors).

Good to know, does turning off RT shadows help? It did for me!
